Music Composition & Digital Arts and Sound Design

Graduate students applying to Music Composition or Digital Arts and Sound Design must submit a portfolio of their compositions. The portfolio should be submitted via SlideRoom by December 1.

Applicants to the Master of Music or Doctor of Musical Arts in Composition

Upload representative samples of several music scores that you have composed. Scores should be your original works (not arrangements). You are also encouraged to upload audio files of your compositions if available. It is preferable that these audio files are recordings of performances, but you may also submit MIDI renditions if necessary.  After review of portfolios, finalists for teaching assistantships will be invited to do an on-campus interview.

Applicants to the Master of Music in Digital Arts and Sound Design

Upload representative samples of your digital music that you have composed. You may also upload scores if you have them.  After review of portfolios, finalists for teaching assistantships will be invited to do an on-campus interview.
