Directions & Parking Information

From Florida Turnpike or the Palmetto (SR826):

• Exit at Bird Road (SW 40th Street)
• Turn East on Bird Road to Red Road (SW 57th Avenue)
• Turn South on Red Road
• Take Red Road to Miller Road (SW 56th Street)
• Turn East on Miller Road and go two blocks to San Amaro Drive
• At the first light, make a left turn on San Amaro Drive, which is Hurricane Drive.
• Continue on San Amaro Drive to the roundabout
• Take the first exit on Miller Drive 
• The Music Administration Center is in the center of the Frost School of Music quadrangle

From all points North, via I-95 South

• Take I-95 South until it becomes US1,
• Continue South to SW 57th Avenue, which is Red Road
• Turn right on SW 57th Ave.
• Make another immediate right turn onto Ponce de Leon Boulevard.
• At the first light, make a left turn on San Amaro Drive, which is Hurricane Drive.
• Continue on San Amaro Drive to the roundabout   
• Take the first exit on Miller Drive 
• The Music Administration Center is in the center of the Frost School of Music quadrangle

From all points South, via US1

• Take US1 North
• Turn left on SW 57th Avenue, which is Red Road,
• Make another immediate right turn onto Ponce de Leon Boulevard
• At the first light, make a left turn on San Amaro Drive, which is Hurricane Drive
• Continue on San Amaro Drive to the roundabout               
• Take the first exit on Miller Drive 
• The Music Administration Center is in the center of the Frost School of Music quadrangle

Campus parking is strictly enforced Monday through Sunday 8:00 a.m. - 11:00 p.m. and vehicles must park head-in only.

• Hourly visitors may park at any coin meter on campus and pay the appropriate fee. Please note that the following parking meters are under the jurisdiction of the City of Coral Gables: Stanford Drive, Dickinson Drive, San Amaro Drive (Hurricane Drive), Pavia Street, and Levante Avenue.  See parking map for exact locations.
• Pay-by-Space parking may also be purchased from any pay station located behind the Richter Library or on the first floor of the Pavia Garage.  See our parking map for exact locations.
• Short-term visitor permits are available in one-day to five-day increments, and are valid in the Yellow and Gray, lots and may be purchased by following this link.

Additionally, visitors may purchase short-term visitor passes from one of the pay stations located at Pavia Garage, Merrick Garage, Wellness Center, and Ashe Building.

Daily Permit - Online Purchase

• Purchase a daily parking permit in advance at $8. The parking session is valid all day from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Annual visitor permits are available for our long-term visitors.  For applications and information on this permit type, please visit the Parking and Transportation Services Department located at 5807 Ponce de Leon Boulevard, Coral Gables, Florida. We are located on the first floor of the McKnight Building across from the baseball field.
