Prescreening, Audition, and Portfolio Information

*Dates are subject to change. Additional audition dates will be provided as dates are confirmed

Auditions for Fall 2026 will be held in person. Confirmation emails will be sent in December 2025 with additional details about the audition format and schedule. Recorded auditions are acceptable for some areas, but an on-campus audition is strongly encouraged.

Auditions for Fall 2026 will occour on the following days:

Saturday, February 7, 2026
Saturday, February 14, 2026
Saturday, February 21, 2026 (Classical Voice and Piano only)

Some areas of the Frost School of Music (composition, conducting, jazz, music education, music therapy, musicology) schedule their own auditions/interviews, and applicants will be contacted by faculty to arrange those.

Guidelines
- Prescreening and portfolios will not be reviewed by faculty until all application materials and applicable fees are received
- Faculty will review the prescreening submissions and an invitation to audition will be extended to selected applicants
- Do not make travel plans until you receive that audition confirmation
- Prescreening submissions will be accepted online only - upload here
- All prescreening submissions should include both audio and video
