Undergraduate applicants to the Music Education program must follow the audition requirements for their primary instrument/voice in one of the following genres: Contemporary, Jazz, or Classical. Some instruments/genres require a prescreening video be uploaded along with the application before an audition is granted. Please check the requirements for your specific instrument/voice by using the clickable links on the left-hand menu.

Music Education applicants must submit an essay describing their teaching and leadership experiences and their motivations for pursuing a degree in music education as part of the Frost supplemental online application.

On-campus auditions are preferred. In addition to an audition on your primary instrument, an interview with the Music Education faculty will be scheduled for your audition day.
